DALLAS, Jan. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Pie Five Pizza is blowing the Windy City's expectations of pizza straight out of Lake Michigan. The fast casual leader is bringing farm-fresh ingredients and dough made from scratch to the residents of Oak Lawn where the newest addition to the Chicagoland Pie Five family opens on Friday, January 29, at 11 a.m. It is located at 10916 South Cicero Avenue at the corner of 109th Street and Cicero Avenue next to Oak Lawn's Mariano's.

Pie Five will also present a check for $1,000 to the Park Lawn organization at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on opening day at 10:30 a.m. Park Lawn provides services that promote independence for people with developmental disabilities in the Oak Lawn community.
During the entire month of February, Pie Five will host a Pizza Wars contest between three area schools – St. Catherine, St. Linus and St. Gerald. Each school will receive $1 for each pizza they purchase, and the school with the most pizzas at the end of the month will receive an additional $1,000 grand prize.
Pie Five pizzas bake in just 145 seconds in a custom-designed, state-of-the-art oven. Guests can add one of Pie Five's freshly tossed handmade salads or a decadent home-baked brownie or cookie pie to their meal.
